Terms of use
These terms apply to the Unramble app and its service, made by JCDP. They add to Apple's Standard License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which also applies. If they conflict, these terms win where the law allows.
Subscriptions
- Unramble's AI editing needs a subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
- Each plan includes a number of videos per billing period, shown in the app. Unused videos don't carry over. To keep the service affordable, each video can only be re-run through the AI a limited number of times.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your videos
- Your videos, audio and words are yours. You allow us to process them only to edit your videos, as described in the privacy policy.
- Only edit footage you have the right to use, and get the consent of the people in it where needed.
- Don't use Unramble for anything illegal, hateful or harmful, or to infringe on others' rights.
The AI makes mistakes
Unramble's edits, captions, titles and suggestions are made by AI. They can be wrong: a cut can drop something you meant to keep, a caption can misspell a word, a title can miss the point. Watch your video before you post it. You're responsible for what you publish.
Fair use
Don't try to get around the plan limits, copy or reverse-engineer the service, or overload it. We may suspend access that does.
Changes and availability
We keep improving Unramble, so features can change. We try to keep the service running but can't promise it's never interrupted. If we ever stop the service, we'll say so in the app ahead of time. If these terms change, the new version is posted here; continuing to use Unramble after that means you accept it.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Unramble is provided “as is”, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Unramble in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived by law.
